Is it okay to rely on only one trading approach?

I won't say I am a stark scalper rather I change my trading approaches at times. Is it okay?

i think it is necessary to have an edge beside your main strategy
i have it but most time i am not able to use it

Focusing on one thing will get you to the top levels of it, but you don't want to stay one-dimensional in this sort of business.
