Are demo accounts useless for real trading experience?

There's no real emotion involved, and some say it gives false confidence. What do you think? Is demo trading actually useful?

Not completely, but compared to a real account with real money, it's not the same! When real money is involved, your mentality changes and the pressure goes through the roof! Of course it is my experience.

I think demo can only take you so far. There’s just no replicating the emotions of real money on the line.
