There's no real emotion involved, and some say it gives false confidence. What do you think? Is demo trading actually useful?
Attention Forex Brokers, FX Companies & Hedge Funds.

EnquireNo its not like that you can learn lots things from demo like reading chart patterns, candle patterns and lots things.
That's what I mean. Emotions hit different when real money’s on the line. Did you find any tricks that helped you bridge the gap between demo and live trading? Not completely, but compared to a real account with real money, it's not the same! When real money is involved, your mentality changes and the pressure goes through the roof! Of course it is my experience.
Demo trading only gives false confidence if you treat it like a game, it’s where real skill, discipline, and strategy begin. If you can’t respect a demo account, what makes you think you’ll respect real money?
I think demo can only take you so far. There’s just no replicating the emotions of real money on the line.
True, the emotional side hits different with real money. but that’s why I treat demo seriously. If you can build discipline there, it’s a smoother transition when the stakes go up.
I just think no matter how seriously you treat demo, the pressure of real money forces a different level of decision-making. That’s where the real growth kicks in.
real money pressure is on another level. But for me, demo’s where I lock in the habits so I’m not scrambling when the emotions hit live.
Of course demo accounts can help building habits.Yeah, that makes sense. If demo helps you build those habits early, it’s way easier to stay grounded when real money’s on the line.

Trade with small volumes on real accounts or use nano and micro accounts
That actually makes the transition from demo to real trading account even smoother.
