The optimal time for intraday trading is the first two hours the stock market is open.

From Sunday evening at 5 p.m. EST to Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. EST, the foreign exchange market is open 24 hours a day, every day of the week. Because of the wide range of worldwide time zones, the foreign exchange market is open for business around the clock.

A lot of forex traders find the 1-hour charts to be the most conducive to their trading style. It's not too short of a time frame, and the number of trade opportunities is manageable. This time range for trading allows for more leisurely market analysis and less time.

I would agree with that and say it's reasonable. Most traders can't stare at the screen all day (unless they're full-time).

Scalping is a short time trading strategy which gives a trader quick return within a very shot time. High hypothesis over the price isn't needed for scalping but a good forecast and right broker selection will help a trader to some extent.

I do not recommend to make trading your full time activity from the very start especially if you are newbie trader without passive income, because success rate is low and things can easily go wrong, putting you in a worse financial position. Step-by-step approach assumes you start devoting 1-2 hrs to trading and then if you see progress you increase the time you spend on trading. Transition should be smooth

It is a solid introduction to the timing and dynamics of the forex market, suitable for beginners or those wanting a quick refresher.

I think it all depends on the trading strategy and the signals it gives during the day. After all, they can appear both in the European session, for example, and in the American one. And the choice of timeframe for trading plays an important role, when on lower timeframes during the day there may be more signals for transactions, and on higher timeframes there are fewer signals. Therefore, everyone chooses their own trading path and the time spent on it.

You can trade one currency pair, or you can trade several. This is also why different traders spend different amounts of time trading.

Sure, some folks out there might be glued to charts 24/7, scalping pips like a hawk. But for most of us mere mortals, forex trading should be a strategic marathon, not a day-trading sprint.

Think about it: champions train hard, but they don't spend every waking minute at the gym. They need rest, analysis, and a solid plan to win the race. Same with forex. Instead of clock-watching, I focus on catching the right waves – those well- researched market movements with high probability. That might mean spending quality time studying charts on blackeaglefg.com in the mornings, then executing well-timed trades throughout the day without getting glued to the screen.

Scalping traders may only spend 2 hours trading during peak hours because scalping is short-term trading. Even though the market is open 24 hours, it is not recommended to stay in front of the chart all day. It is also important for traders to maintain their health.

That depends on your trading strategy, doesn't it? I really don't recommend trading for more than 2 hours anyhow. If you're a scalper or you are a pro with indicators, you need even less than that, and tbh I'm way more comfortable with trading like that, with a overall of less than 30 minutes a day. The more you put in, the more emotions you have to deal with. At least that's what I think.

because we're deeply concerned about the outcomes of our efforts.

I spent three hours trading with HFM because I consider it as part-time activity. The reason for that is inconsistent returns, i.e. no stability.
