Is Forex education compulsory for a trader?

I learned most of what I know through trial and error, but going through some basics early on would’ve saved me from losing money in the beginning.

Exactly! I think a basic education can be so helpful.
But many of those I know trade only based on the signals they receive from different sources. The know nothing themselves!
