Quantum Queen EA MT5 is it worth here in 2026?

Hi everyone,

I have recently been researching the Quantum Queen EA MT5 and wanted to start a proper discussion about it with traders who have actually tested it.

Quantum Queen is an automated Expert Advisor developed mainly for trading Gold, or XAUUSD, on MetaTrader 5. Unlike multi-pair robots, it appears to focus primarily on gold and uses a structured grid-based approach combined with market analysis and trade-management rules.

From what I have reviewed, the EA is designed to manage the complete trading process automatically, including entries, multiple open positions, take-profit management and risk controls.

Main Features I Found

Some of the more useful settings appear to include:

  • Fixed-lot and automatic lot-sizing options
  • Adjustable grid distance
  • Dynamic trade spacing based on volatility
  • Maximum open-trade limits
  • Maximum drawdown protection
  • Margin-level monitoring
  • Time and market-condition filters
  • Automatic take-profit management
  • Recovery and basket-management functions
The settings are important because this is not the type of EA that should be attached to a live account using aggressive default values without testing.

How the Strategy Appears to Work

Quantum Queen waits for selected market conditions before opening its first XAUUSD position. When the market moves, it may manage several positions as part of a grid or recovery sequence.

That can help the system manage an unfavourable entry and close a group of trades around a combined profit target. However, it also means margin usage and drawdown can increase when gold continues moving strongly in one direction.

For that reason, I would consider the grid distance, lot size, maximum number of orders and equity protection to be more important than the advertised win rate.

Reported Quantum Queen EA Results

The review page includes links to third-party Myfxbook and MQL5 tracking accounts with different growth and drawdown figures.

Some of the reported accounts show high percentage growth, but the results vary significantly between accounts. That probably means the account size, broker conditions, leverage, risk profile and settings have a major effect on performance.

I would not judge the EA using growth alone. Before using it, I would check:

  • Whether the account is real or demo
  • How long the trading history has been running
  • The absolute and relative drawdown
  • Open floating losses
  • Deposit and withdrawal history
  • Average lot size
  • Maximum simultaneous positions
  • Whether the complete trading history is visible
A backtest is also shown, but extremely large backtest profits should always be treated carefully. Spread, slippage, execution delay, data quality and changing gold-market conditions can make live results very different.

Suggested Starting Approach

For someone testing Quantum Queen EA MT5, a more cautious process may be:

  1. Start on an MT5 demo account.
  2. Use XAUUSD on the recommended timeframe.
  3. Begin with a fixed 0.01 lot rather than aggressive automatic compounding.
  4. Limit the maximum number of open trades.
  5. Enable drawdown or equity protection.
  6. Test it through major news events and strong gold trends.
  7. Compare results across more than one broker.
  8. Run it on a stable VPS before considering a live account.
The review suggests M5 or M15 for XAUUSD, with $100 presented as a possible minimum. Personally, I think the real question is not whether the EA can technically run on a small account, but whether the account has enough free margin to survive an extended grid sequence.

Advantages

  • Built specifically for MetaTrader 5
  • Primarily focused on XAUUSD
  • Fully automated execution
  • Flexible lot and risk-management settings
  • Controls for grid spacing and maximum positions
  • Third-party performance accounts are available for inspection
  • Suitable for continuous VPS operation

Risks and Disadvantages

  • Grid trading can accumulate floating losses
  • Gold can move sharply during news and geopolitical events
  • Results may vary between brokers
  • Aggressive lot sizing can increase drawdown quickly
  • A high historical win rate does not remove tail risk
  • Backtests cannot reproduce every live-trading condition
  • Small accounts may experience margin pressure during long trends

My Current Opinion

Quantum Queen EA MT5 looks more configurable than many basic gold robots, and the availability of external performance tracking is useful. However, I would not describe any grid EA as low risk simply because it has a high win rate or several profitable accounts.

Its long-term performance will probably depend heavily on conservative position sizing, sufficient account capital, controlled grid exposure and active drawdown monitoring.

I found a more detailed breakdown of its settings, reported results and installation process here:

Has anyone here tested Quantum Queen on a real MT5 account?

I would especially like to know:

  • Which broker and account type did you use?
  • What balance and lot size did you start with?
  • What was your highest floating drawdown?
  • How many positions did it open during strong gold trends?
  • Did you use the original settings or a custom set file?
  • How did it perform during high-impact news?
  • Were the live results reasonably close to the available tracking accounts?
Please share real testing details rather than only screenshots of profitable days. Both positive and negative experiences would be helpful.

Risk warning: Expert Advisors, grid systems and leveraged XAUUSD trading can cause substantial losses. Historical results, backtests and third-party tracking do not guarantee future performance. Test carefully and use only capital you can afford to lose.
